Chicks raised and sold as market-ready birds.
We buy day-old chicks, raise them under managed conditions, and sell mature birds to poultry buyers and traders in Uganda. Birds are reared with consistent feeding, health monitoring and management. We are also working toward establishing a local breeder farm to reduce dependence on chicks imported from Rwanda.

We slaughter birds and supply dressed poultry meat to local buyers. Our current operations focus on the Ugandan domestic market. We are actively developing better processing, packaging and cold chain infrastructure, which will allow us to supply a broader range of buyers and, in time, regional markets.

Local chick supply for Uganda.
Medel Comchick is working toward establishing a breeder farm that produces day-old chicks within Uganda. This would reduce the cost and dependency that Uganda's poultry sector currently faces from relying on imported chicks. When operational, it will supply Medel Comchick's own rearing operations as well as other poultry farmers.
